SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES

Every Sunday morning at 10 am, New City gathers to engage in what is called a Public Worship Service. At New City, this consists of a collection of biblical, heart-calibrating practices that come together in an exciting and dynamic dialogue with the Creator of the universe. We believe that the worship of God is the highest calling for human beings, and we invite you to join us in this transformative rhythm of life. Please take some time to review some common Q&A we have put together to make your visit a great experience.

HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?

Our worship services last 75 minutes. Some Sundays may include additional elements such as a baptisms, membership vow, or special communication which slightly increase the overall length.

WILL I FEEL AWKWARD AS A VISITOR?

At New City we will never single you out as a visitor, however, we will make every effort to warmly welcome you. We are eager to meet you and engage in conversation with you before or after the service. Please know that our Hospitality team will also be stationed in various places to answer any questions you may have. If you prefer, plan your visit and let us know you’re coming.

DO YOU OFFER KIDS' PROGRAMS?

The New City Nursery is available for children ages 0-36 months. For preschool-aged children, we offer Kids’ Bible Time; an age-appropriate bible lesson with a corresponding song and craft that point our children to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Families with school-aged children, or wanting their children to be in the service, are encouraged to worship and model worship alongside their children. Our congregation expects children to worship alongside us, and looks forward to serving your family by extending grace and modeling Christian worship for your children. Make sure to check out our New City Kids’ Totes; a tote bag full of resources to help your child engage our worship service. You can find our “tote trees” outside the Gathering Place on the first floor.

DO YOU OFFER SUNDAY SCHOOL?

Before our worship services, at 9am we offer classes that dive deeper into theological and Christian living topics from the Scriptures. Classes are available for all ages, and our New City Nursery is also available during this time. Check our Sunday School Annual Calendar for more information.
