Our student ministry exists to challenge middle school students (grades 6th-8th) and high school students (grades 9th-12th) to walk in a faith of their own. We do this by encouraging them to CONNECT with Jesus and with one another in community, GROW through discipleship under godly men and women who invest in their lives, and to GO into their schools, neighborhoods, and all of life serving others and sharing the gospel. Our heart and prayer is for our students to live life to the fullest, sustained and empowered by the truth of gospel and their relationship with Jesus Christ!
What do New City Students Do?
IMPACT (SUNDAY NIGHTS) – Every Sunday night from 6-7:45 p.m., our students gather at the church building to worship God and be challenged in their relationship with Jesus. Impact is a great time of games, worship, teaching, and discipleship groups led by godly men and women who understand the value of life-on-life relationships and are determined to invest in the next generation.
RETREATS – Each year we have winter retreats for middle and high school students and a Summer conference. These are great times to get away, have fun, and challenge students to think deeply about their hearts, lives, and relationships, in light of biblical teaching.
